Information on Alaskan Kee Kai Dogs
posted by adminAlaskan Kee Kai dogs are considered a miniature dog, but they are not a toy dog. These dogs are the miniature version of the Alaskan Husky. If someone wants the looks of a Husky, but not the size and weight, the Alaskan Kee Kai breed is the dog for them.
Types
There are three types of Alaskan Kee Kai dogs. They have three different heights as well s three colors to choose from. Alaskan Kee Kai dogs are very energetic and like to make some noise through barking. These dogs shed their hair all of the time, so the owner needs to purchase a good vacuum when they decide they want this breed of dog. Since they are miniature dogs, they can live almost anywhere, so long they have a place to take a walk and air out their legs.
Caring For the Dog
When a new owner brings the Alaskan Kee Kai dog home, they need to start training it from the moment it walks into the house. They are very energetic and wanting to please their owners, so it will be easy to housebreak and teach commands. The Alaskan Kee Kai dogs would have less shedding if the owner would bathe their coats once a week and brush them daily. This will reduce dander and shedding of hair throughout their house. This breed also has good genetics in that they do not have many health problems, if any at all. They are a good dog to have around when one is lonely.
